"Doing our part in making our community safer for our children and families gives me great pride. We make every effort to promote worthy causes such as PDAP, MADD, Boo at the Zoo, Monica's and Maggie's House, CASA, Friendship of Women and a host of others. Our office has created its own civic organization, the DA's Sword & Shield, which raises funds and assists those in need. We have been instrumental in the dispersal of approximately $1 million to various civic and charitable groups. Our commitment to the community goes well beyond our work day."
